Silent Hill Origins for PS2 in May
February 1st, 2008 @ 14:12

Konami’s to release a PS2 version of Silent Hill Origins following “enormous success” as a PSP title, says this press release. The horror game is a prequel to all the other Silent Hill titles, following “trouble truck driver” Travis Grady as he blunders into torture town and can’t find his way out again. Apparently the PS2 version includes a ‘Cineractive System’ over the PSP game which allows you to “face down” monsters, with the control system changing with each beast you come across.
Sounds snazzy. Another reason to hang on to your PS2, then.

Er.. I’m not at all sure about that ‘cineractive’ thing. Sounds a bit like quicktime events to me. Which is bad.
