PS3 DMC4 drowns Xbox 360 version in Japan
February 3rd, 2008 @ 22:25

Hardly surprising, but according to this, the PS3 version of Devil May Cry 4 has outsold the Xbox 360 SKU by almost five to one in Japan in its first day in stores. The title managed 140,000 copies sold on PS3, compared to 30,000 on Xbox 360.
The game launches in Europe on February 8, the PlayStation 3 version being comedically £10 more than the Xbox 360 outing in the UK. Capcom recently put the difference down to retailer policy.

I really am hugely shocked by this news.
In that the PS3 only outsold it 5 to 1, I was expecting worse.

Not the most amazing news if you think about it just for a second. 360 has barely a noticable user base in japan. Ps3 on the other had has a much larger user base.
30,000 sales on a none japanese console thats great in my book.

its not £10 more at a bunch of retail and online stores not importing either, people are making a huge deal out of it.
