First Golden Axe shots released

February 5th, 2008 @ 18:11

Nice. A Golden Axe remake, named Beast Rider, was announced at E3 2006, but this is the first time anyone’s seen anything of the Secret Level-developed game. A teaser movie was known to be in existence, but it was strictly internal use only, so this really is the first look. The screens show beasts, as you’d expect, being ridden in open environments. No idea when this is going to release, but expect the mere sight of it to generate plenty of interest web-wide.

  1. At least it’s not being developed in-house at Sega (or worst of all, by Sonic Team). That means that there’s at least a tiny chance it won’t be a load of old carp.

  2. It should be good. Been knocking round for a hell of a long time, though.
