English of the Dead isn’t a joke

February 7th, 2008 @ 14:18

The English of the Dead title that popped up in the pages of Famitsu a few days ago isn’t a misspelling or a joke: it’s real, according to this.

The Sega game is a port of House of the Dead 2 for DS, in which Japanese players must translate words into English to fight off the zombie hordes. Apprently, parts of the title also include zombies that speak out loud in English: translate what they’re saying and you don’t turn into zombie food.

All too much.

  1. It sounds about as daft as Typing of The Dead originally sounded. Bring it on I say!

  2. I loved Typing of the Dead! Too bad this game isn’t for us.
