Skydiving game for US PSN tomorrow
February 7th, 2008 @ 08:51
Being European’s rubbish. It means we can’t play Go! Sports Skydiving tomorrow, while American PS3 owners download the game from the US PlayStation Store.
Which is a shame. In the game, players direct a chap out of a plane and towards the ground using their Sixaxis tilting function, doing tricks an joining in formations with other divers along the way. We didn’t want it anyway, Sony.
See here. There’s a movie to watch. Looks like fun.

Is it just me or does the output of PSN in regards to games look much more interesting than on Live? At least in theory it looks better, not sure about in practice (as in ‘Are the games actually better’?).

Apparently this is out today here too £3.49.
RE: PSN vs XBLA. There are some great games on XBLA - stuff like Bomberman, Worms and UNO. The output on PSN I find a lot more interesting though. Better variety and usually something new or different. Not so many re-hashes or remakes.
The pricing on PSN is also spot on. £3.49 is perfect impulse buy territory. 800MSP for most of the the XBLA stuff is simply too much. I do like the trial versions for all games model on XBLA though.
