Activision financials: “Competitive advantage” on PS3 to be extended

According to this, Activision last night claimed it had a “competitive advantage” in terms of PlayStation 3 development, risen from the construction of a central development that allowed the publisher to successfully develop games across multiple platforms. EA had previously admitted having a tough time with PS3 development.
The runaway success of Call of Duty 4 - named the biggest selling game for 2007, was seen of proof tat this strategy hd paid dividends.
The news emerged from an investor call last night following the release of record third quarter financials from Activision.
