GDC: Wii will pass 360 in the US by June, says Reggie
February 21st, 2008 @ 20:55
This seems a bit flaky, but we’re not going to argue with Bloomberg. According to this, NOA’s Reggie Fils-Aime has claimed that he expects Wii to pass Xbox 360 sales in the US by June. From the piece:
Nintendo, which counts the Americas as its biggest market, advanced 4.1 percent to 53,300 yen, the highest since Jan. 23. The Wii will surpass the Xbox 360 in total U.S. sales by June, helped by video-game titles including Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime said.
Don’t blame us if some wires have got a little crosses somewhere in there.

I don’t think you need to be an analyst to figure that one out, tbh.

I wish they’d actually quoted him. Sounds a bit “made up”.
