Wowzers! I guess they were banking on the shareholders selling so they could buy them up too. This failed bid will no doubt bump the price anyway and EA will probably snatch those that get sold. It was probably the wrong time to offer an attractive bid, business recently and for the foreseeable future is good for Take Two so it's possible that their share value may have been undervalued. 64% premium. Wowzers!
