Borders to start selling games
February 28th, 2008 @ 14:58
This has to be the slowest news day in the history of news days, so here’s one about a shop that’s starting to sell Nintendo games. The shop is UK bookshop Borders, and is to add Wii and DS games to its existing CD and DVD product lines.
“We believe there is a significant opportunity for computer games in our stores, following much positive feedback from our customers and our store staff,” said Borders commercial boss David Kohn.

Their photo mags cost about 15 quid. It’s amazing.

Innit! I went to buy the Bourne Ultimatum as a last minute thing the other night (We fancied watching it and didn’t own it) and I went in there first and it was £25! For a DVD! Went across to Zavvi and it was about £18 or something. I paid it as it was an emergency… but I thought DVDs and CDs would be cheaper than that these days.

If you buy them in shops they charge you as much as they can because you can steal them off the internet for about 12p. It’s the pirates’ fault.
