First Battlefield Heroes movie shows plenty fun

February 29th, 2008 @ 13:43

This looks very cool. Free games are the absolute future, although there may be a few developers that would disagree. Check out our impressions of Battlefield Heroes from GDC and watch the movie below.

  1. That is an excellent advert. Sold it to me.

  2. The best bit being that it won’t cost you a penny. I can’t see why this won’t be massive.

  3. i’m sceptical, due to its brilliance, wheres the catch.

Anyone know how the “launching from the browser” bit works? Does it actually run in the browser?

  5. I really doubt it, tbh, but I don’t know for sure.

Yeah, that’s what I thought. Still, it looks good.

  7. On a similar note, has anyone tried this “EA-Land” yet? What’s with EA’s new policy of trying to go free and browser based? They desperately trying to grab what’s left of “casual”-gaming?

  8. Considering EA bought casual portal pogo.com about 4 or so years back I wouldn’t say they’re “desperately trying to grab what’s left” by any stretch of the imagination.

Seriously, EA never get enough credit from the idealistic finger-pointers. Those guys are number 1 for a reason.

Anyway, what a great advert eh?

  9. Pogo’s one of the biggest websites in America period. The whole concept of EA-land is a bit confusing to me. Why on earth did they call it that?

Who’s pointing fingers? I have no problem with EA whatsoever
