Motorstorm 2 details to be released next week

Says so here. Apparently JeuxVideo’s got an exclusive for next Wednesday, including details on the game’s courses and the final name. Racey. Very first details of Motorstorm 2 emerged this week, telling us that an island setting will grace the sequel, which will feature four-way split-screen racing.

Ah, good stuff. The first one was very underwhelming, both graphically and in gameplay, so it’ll be nice to see if they’ve managed to flesh things out somewhat

I was quiet impressed when I first saw it. And that was on a 15″ SDTV. Sure the first trailers suggested that it would look simply awesome, but then again few games turn out to be as good as they look in the trailers.
The single player mode was and still is pretty poor, though.

My son likes this, especially the motorbikes. He likes me to drive them off cliffs or under trucks. Which is handy, because that’s what happens when I try to play properly.

Nah, it’s one of those games you get every “next-gen” that dates *really* quickly. I played recently after some more of the updates got released and found myself in a serious state of meh for the look of the thing.
