Simultaneous global releases are go, says Square
March 10th, 2008 @ 21:32

According to this, Square Enix boss Yoichi Wada told Japan’s Nihon Keizan Shimbun daily today that the company will be “making simultaneous releases the norm.”
While the news will delight European Square fans used to waiting ages for PAL Final Fantasy versions, the proof will most certainly be in the pudding on this one. Get FFXIII out in Japan, the US and Europe in the same week and we’ll believe you, Yoichi.

I take this to mean that now Japan and the US have to wait as long as Europe does.

I hate to be cynical, but I’ll believe it when I see it, frankly. I hope they do sort it out, though.
