NPD releases weekly PC sales figures, for some reason

We’re not sure why this has happened, but there we are. NPD has released PC sales figures for the week ending March 1 in the US. Amazingly, the Sims is top.

- World Of Warcraft - Vivendi - $20

- The Sims 2 Deluxe - Electronic Arts - $30
- World Of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Expansion Pack - Vivendi - $28
- Lost: Via Domus - Ubisoft - $30

Why are people still buying the Sims? I could understand to begin with, when it was a bit of a fad, but surely that time passed long ago?
