360 to have limited Mass Effect 2 exclusive, PC version hinted
March 14th, 2008 @ 13:28
Speaking here, BioWare senior manager Matt Atwood has revealed that the 360 version of Mass Effect 2 will be a console exclusive for a limited period.
“I believe we’ll be Xbox 360 exclusive for at least a short period of time,” he said. “We’re still working out the details on that, but we’ve had a great relationship with Microsoft and done very well.”
This presumably means there’ll be a PS3 version.
Atwood also gave a not-so-subtle hint here that a PC version’s in the works.
“We haven’t announced plans for timing on Mass Effect 2, period, so at this point we’re not really ready to talk about it, but because we’ve got a really great PC fan base we think it’s really important to deliver the PC experience as quickly as possible. Look for more news on that soon,” he said.
There’s no date on the RPG sequel as yet.

Multi-format ftw. Share the love, and all that.

I imagine it’s a game which would benefit from installation on the PS3.
