GT5 Prologue pre-orders hit 1 million in Europe

According to this, more than a million people have pre-ordered GT5 Prologue in Europe, making it the first PS3 game to achieve platinum title status before launch. We’re just after some clarification from Sony on this. GT5 Prologue releases in Europe on March 28.

Are people really that excited about this? Maybe it’s just not my genre, but I really had no difficulties ignoring GT4 Prologue until such time as the full game was released, so why people are so excited about this half-a-game cash-in is kind of beyond me.

Me neither, they get too repetitive about half way through and some of those endurance races are just crazy (24h Nurnburg in a classic car).

Give me burnout 2 any-day, I think Tiger was spot on with his soulless comment…. splitscreen is still fun but motorstorm 2 will have that so….. who am I kidding I know I’ll get it, it’s to pretty
