Sega giving away The Club product keys
March 17th, 2008 @ 06:23

According to this, anyone can request a product key for the PC version of The Club from the game’s official site and they’ll be sent one without any proof of purchase. We entered our email address but the key hadn’t turned up by the time we pressed “publish”, so while his appears to be true we have no idea of knowing. It’s this edge of the seat journalism that gets us out of bed in the morning.
Update: Yep, it just turned up. You may want to look into that, Sega.

Yep, same here. I tried for research purposes only, obviously. *Ahem*

That really is a bit daft. I hope they sort it out reasonably sharpish.

I think The Clubs a great game in concept but fails in practicality it just felt too repetitive and online it took way too many bullets to kill someone. There was no visual cue telling you that you were at all hitting them either.
This seems like a huge mistake on Sega’s side, hopefully they can recover from it quickly.
