THQ releases Wii de Blob video

March 19th, 2008 @ 08:47

THQ has released a new gameplay video of up and coming Wii conversion de Blob. Take a look after the link.

The idea of the game - which has been out on PC for ages - is that you have to paint the world with colour. Evil corporation Ink Corp has removed all the colour from the world and de Blob crash lands on earth to put the flush back where it belongs.

Four primary colours can be combined in order to make a whole array of shade to complete various tasks. It’s fairly basic stuff, dare we say it. De Blob colours the world by bouncing into things. with its progress hindered by Inkies.

Now you know. Watch the video.

  1. What the flamin’ Norah is going on with the camera in that video? Half the time you can’t even see your bloody character!

  2. I thought the PC version was shit, to be honest. I was bored in five minutes.

  3. Oh, hang about. I’ve just watched it again and now the video looks quite different. The curse of the dodgy flash video player strikes again, no doubt.

  4. Colour, like no other.

    What?

I like the look of this, tbh.

  5. It’s like Wizball without the shooting.

  6. It’s the first major Wii title to be developed in Jamaica, to my knowledge.

    What?

  7. It’s Dutch, isn’t it?

  8. It’s all Greek to me.

  9. at least its not another shit mini game, i’ll give it that. but … christ it sounds crap. bump into a building to colour it? jesus….i’ll try the PC version but if this is fun i’ll be severely shocked.
