Wii shortage for six months, price drops for 360 and PS3 in the US, says Gamestop

March 19th, 2008 @ 17:46

According to this, Gamestop executives said in a conference call yesterday that Americans can expect Wii shortages for the next six months. The company also said that it expects price cuts for both PS3 and Xbox 360 in the US to the tune of $50 sometime in 2008.

The call came after the retailer’s full year results on Tuesday, which showed sales up 33 percent to $7.1 billion for fiscal 2007.
