Media Molecule “pushing LittleBigPlanet toward Alpha stage”
March 20th, 2008 @ 10:38

Posting on its company blog, Media Molecule has said that anticipated PS3 oddity LittleBigPlanet should soon move into its Alpha phase.
“We’ve been slaving away pushing LittleBigPlanet toward the Alpha stage of its development cycle,” said a spokesperson here. “Basically, this means all the cool stuff we said will be in there should be playable, even if it isn’t pretty enough to release. The game seems to change every day at the moment and it is very exciting to be able to sit down and play what feels more and more like a complete experience.”
LittleBigPlanet’s down for a September launch.

I’m looking forward to it now. I didn’t think I was, but it does look brilliant.

I think the headline is misleading. As I read Media Molecule’s blog post, it seems that they’re nearing the beginning of Alpha, not the end.

Hmm. That’s true. I’ll change it.

Yeah. I have to say, I really expected it to be further along that this. It was playable at E3 last year. That was eight months ago.
