Freeloader still working after Wii update
March 21st, 2008 @ 12:47
It seems Datel has lived up to its earlier promise that the Wii Freeloader would be firmware proof.
An minor firmware update was released yesterday that added ad support for the upcoming WiiWare in the Shop Channel.
Reports from various Wii-centric forums across the ‘net say Freeloader has held firm, so users can still boot games from other regions on their machines.

Err..they didn’t live up to the promise. The update simply didn’t try and break it.
