Following myriad rumour reports, Ubisoft has confirmed to videogaming247 that shooter Far Cry 2 has been delayed from spring to autumn.
“I can confirm the release date is autumn 2008,” said a spokesperson for the publisher.
The tech-heavy FPS - currently in development at Ubisoft Montreal - is planned for release on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
Far Cry 2 is set in Africa, and sets the player between two warring factions.

Should give ‘em a bit more time to add “Tom Clancy” to the front of the title.

lol @ Blerk!
Shame about the delay - mind you, I need to finish off Crysis and a stack of other games before I think about this, so a few more months wait is no bad thing.
