According to this, Easter in Britain has brought with it a heavy rise in week-on-week console sales.
Both PS3 and 360 sales were up over 70 percent last week compared to the previous seven days. Bet Sony’s glad it didn’t have to make any price cuts to manage it.
- 360 - Up 78 percent
- PS3 - Up 73 percent
- Wii - Up 37 percent
- DS - Up 32 percent
- PSP - Up 10 percent

Kids get consoles for easter these days? :/

We bought our son a DS for Easter. Much healthier than 200lbs of chocolate.
Jumbo rises for hi-def beasties, there.

But chocolate is tastier.
A DS would still be within reason I suppose (mind I wouldn’t buy one for my children), but a PS3, 360 or even a Wii?

That’s not to say that he didn’t get 200lbs of chocolate as well, of course, from the relatives, etc.
And he did pay for half of it himself with his left-over Christmas money. He loves it. In fact, he’s a complete games nut. I dunno where he gets it from.
