Hollywood producer to make Xbox Live-exclusive videos

March 31st, 2008 @ 05:53

According to this, Hollywood producer Peter Safran is to make shows for exclusive distribution via Xbox Live.

Safran said that he expected the shows to be around ten minutes long, to be scripted as opposed to reality TV, and to focus on genre that appealed to 14-34 year-old males, such as comedy and horror.

Americans are the get the content this autumn, and there’s no news on a global release, but Microsoft is apparently expecting the announcement to be the start of a trend.

“We definitely look at this as the first of many,” said Xbox Live US marketing boss Scott Nocas.

  1. Comedy and horror. I love being pigeon holed.

  2. Yeah. Doesn’t sound cynical at all.

  3. A whole ten minutes each, too! How exciting.

  4. 14-34c year olds don’t have the patience for 10minutes.
