DualShock 3 shipping in US now, Sixaxis discontinued

April 2nd, 2008 @ 18:29

DualShock 3 is now shipping in the US, according to this. The controller will completely phase Sixaxis out, apparently, with rather rapid effect.

“Sixaxis will no longer be offered after it’s completely sold through at retail (likely by the summer timeframe),” said a SCEA rep.

Can we have it in Europe now, please?

  1. We’ve got to buy all those unsold American Sixaxis controllers first!
