GTA IV contains eight hours of cutscenes
April 2nd, 2008 @ 06:12

According to this, GTA IV contains almost eight hours of cutscenes. All the cutscene material was apparently delivered to the BBFC for rating.
GTA IV is supposed to have around 100 hours of play it in, a fact that will no doubt delight our new friend Giles Whittell. All that time up in smoke, eh Gies? Roll on April 29.

how doez it fits onto a DVDz? Only teh Blu Rayz can handle it.
Anyway. 8 hours? I doubt that. I’m also sure I read the game was around 50 hours or so.

All the cutscenes have multiple scripts, apparently, so if you fail a mission you don’t just get the same speech each time. It’s a big game, so I can fully believe it.
