Rumour: Euro Rock Band 360 in May, no PS3/PS2 until autumn
April 4th, 2008 @ 21:09

Someone over at Neogaf “got a memo” saying that Harmonix’s Rock Band has finally got a release date and price for Europe.
Unfortunately for all you PS3 and PS2 owners, it seems that 360 gamers will get it on May 22, while you’ll all have to wait until autumn.
The game was rumoured last week for a May release.
While details surrounding the game’s European release have been locked up tighter than a nun’s pants, we have been told by a highly reliable source that the announcement would be “big news”: if that platform split’s true, we can see why.
Details are as follows:
- Release: 22.05.2008
- Only on XBOX 360 (PS2 & and PS3 is planned for fall)
- Price (not fixed):
- Rock Band Software - 69,99 €
- Rock Band Guitar Wireless - 79,99 €
- Rock Band Drum - 89,99 €
- Rock Band Bundle (complete) - 169,99 €

If that’s true I think the internet will explode.
I wonder if it’s MS money are PSN issues? Although if it works fine in the States I can’t see that being a problem, tbh.

How you gonna pay for the DLC?

You could just buy yourself a drum kit, learn how to play it and join a band. That’s what I’d do

Not done it myself but I believe people buy DLC using entropay which, according to their site, are pre-paid virtual visa cards.

Nice (temporary) catch for Microsoft, if true. Although I still don’t “get” the appeal.

If I knew someone that wanted to play the guitar, I’d advise them to buy a guitar. It’s the epitome of games as waste of time.
