“Rockstar is awesome”, says first GTA IV reviewer

April 7th, 2008 @ 12:03

CGReviews.com, the site that claimed to be carrying the world’s first GTA IV review on Saturday, has replaced a note saying the piece had been removed after legal advice with a message saying “Rockstar is awesome”.

In light of all that has transpired within the last 24 hours, I have reached an agreement with certain parties to pull my initial review of Grand Theft Auto 4. I have not been forced to do this. I did not acquire my previews of Grand Theft Auto 4 under any non-disclosure agreement. I have removed my initial review pending the receipt of a final build of GTA4. When received (estimated arrival 4/8/08), I intend to play the retail version on each platform and restructure my review accordingly. Please note that I was not contacted by Rockstar to remove my review. Rockstar is awesome, and takes good care of their gamers.

Everyone else getting final code tomorrow?

  1. I’m not important enough.

  2. It’ll change to “Rockstar Sucks” when he realises that date is the proper way round :).

That’s not going to work CGReviews… there are mirrors of when you admitted it was fake. :p

  4. “You can’t beat the internet.”

  5. I bet you can. Pass me that stick.

  6. You may as well pass it to Mr CGReview there. He needs a rod for his own back, from the look of it.

This stinks more than the schoolbus in Veronica Mars season two.

  8. He might want to think about buying a new URL, yep.
