Ubisoft just confirmed that Haze will release in Europe on May 23.
The ship-date for the Free Radical shooter has been the subject of much speculation in the past few months.
Most recently, Ubisoft confirmed a May 22 date before immediately retracting it.
Hopefully this’ll be the last we hear of the PS3 exclusive before it finally makes it out.

The Edge preview this month seems quite upbeat about the game, although I’ve only skimmed it. Perhaps there’s hope for them yet?

Seemed pretty decent when I saw people playing it at Play.com Live, it reminded me of TimeShift a bit. Which isn’t a bad thing in my book, that was one of the most underrated games of last year. Not something I’d buy a PS3 for though!

Whizzo - I also enjoyed Timeshift. I found the game’s single-player campaign just as enjoyable as stuff like Halo 3. Shows what a difference $10m of marketing can do to people’s perception of a game.
Then again, I’m a sucker for anything concerning time-travel or manipulation.
As for Haze, I think it’ll deliver the goods.

From what I’ve seen of the game it looks like the definition of “mediocre”.
I’ll be happy if I’m proven wrong, but I don’t have high hopes for it.
