Monster Hunter 2G hits 1.5 million in Japan

According to GI, PSP smash Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G has now shipped more than 1.5 million units in Japan.

The latest in the Capcom series managed to move over 1 million copies in its first six days on sale last week.

Monster Hunter as a franchise has now sold 6.8 million copies in its entirety.

  2. Heh, I’m really surprised at how this has become one of the big games over in Japan. It’s a bit of a blow to Sony that they lost it to the Wii. And a shame too, as I really wanted to see some nice new sparkly Monster Hunter graphics.
