Alone in the Dark demo for early May
April 14th, 2008 @ 15:44
According to a post on the official Atari forums, the demo of survival horror Alone in the Dark is going to be happening sooner rather than later.
“It’s in the plans for both PC and X360,” said an Atari admin. “Target date is early May.”
The game itself was pushed back a few weeks recently, and will now ship in late June in both the US and Europe.

Didn’t take Phil long to forget about the PS3, did it?

*big sigh* I’d rather go fresh into the full experience in June, than spoil my fascination with the concept by a (possibly lacklustre) demo - but I am weak. Maybe if everybody’s really raving about it I can get myself to hold out a bit longer and NOT touch the demo.
Haven’t been looking forward to a game like this for a very long time.
bye,
Alex

I have to admit, I’m not sure of the wisdom of a demo in this case. Surely, the best thing to do is just get it reviewed and release it, if they want to maximise sales?

Plus maybe a Demo ON Release day or a few days after.
