MGO beta now available for download in the US
April 16th, 2008 @ 10:14
According to this forum thread on the US PlayStation boards, the Metal Gear Online beta client has been released and is now available for download.
US gamers need to have a pre-order key to be able to access the 741Mb file.
This has actually been released early: it was supposed to go up tomorrow. No word on whether or not Europeans are going to get it today as well.

Heh
I, just this minute, got a confirmation email from Konami deleting my Japanese beta key.
Naughty boy.

At least it didn’t say something like ’shame on you, no more goodies’ just that ‘we would recommend that you obtain a KONAMI ID for the region you live in provided that the public beta test is open to you’.
/feels suitably chastised
