Wii Fit sells out in the UK
April 16th, 2008 @ 07:16

Try to pre-order Wii Fit in Britain. You can’t. We noticed over at Neogaf that someone else was having problems and took a look for ourselves. And lo: Mr Neogaf wasn’t lying.
- Play.com - “We are currently sold out on this item. All orders will be dispatched as soon as possible.”
- Amazon.co.uk - “Availability: Sign up to be notified when this item becomes available.”
- Game.co.uk - “Please note: Due to massive demand we cannot take any further pre-orders on Wii Fit at the present time.”
- Shopto.net - “Pre-order temporarily stopped.”
- Zavvi.co.uk - “Sorry, Wii fit is temporarily out of stock, please check again soon.”
Looks like we’re all going to be playing “where’s the stock” again. We’ll drop Nintendo a link about this today.

Glad I got in my Amazon pre-order last year when they were £49.99 - looks like they’re honouring it too!

I saw something saying there’d been a hug pre-order spike in the US last night as well. Something to do with a nationwide TV presentation.

I also watched a proper video of it on IGN yesterday. It does look like a proper work-out. Which is nice.
