First full Rock Band album announced
April 18th, 2008 @ 15:19

Judas Priest’s Screaming For Vengeance will be the first full album to go on sale via Rock Band, Kotaku reports.
The 10-track record will cost $14.99, with individual tracks being offered for $1.99 apiece. The Cars’ The Cars will be the second album on the game’s download service in May, following by The Pixies’ Doolittle in June.
There’s a lengthy Q&A about the move through the link. Pricing hasn’t been set for Europe yet, but an estimate of £60 per track is likely.

They’re really going for the mass market here, aren’t they? I wonder how many Rock Band players actually know who Judas Priest are?

They should have just gone the whole hog.

I used to love Priest but then I’m a 30 something from the Midlands, so I’m probably not target audience material. Might go and drink 2 litres of cider though to relive my youth. Do they still sell Embassy No.1’s?

I drank two litres of White Lightning and wet myself in a phone box once. I think that was more house music-related, however.

My mate Kevin shat himself after passing out in a sleeping bag. That was cider and acid related. THAT’S heavy metal.

I ran into a wall and pissed in my flat mate’s girlfriend’s knicker drawer on liquid acid and knew nothing about it the next day. I’ve never shit my pants, though. That’s for losers.
