This appears to be real.
In the shot at the top of this story is a cellophane-wrapped copy of GTA IV, which makes something of a mockery of the “it’s gold” claim from Take-Two overnight. Half the UK’s on “who’s going to break the street date watch” as of now. We obviously can’t confirm this as fact, but, well, look for yourself.

Notice that there is no Xbox Live logo in the top right of the box which is on EVERY 360 box inc. GTA4.
