Microsoft are stuck in a rut, even if it's a relatively attractive one, the wheels are clearly spinning to try to move into broader horizons, but there's no traction. They may think they're broadening appeal, but every time they have a real opportunity to do so, it's squandered by deficient handling on the PR side, as they show they aren't able to target the right people with the correct advertising for the right game, and the product slinks off to an early death. 

I just don't think they have a grasp of that market, despite what their execs might have people think.</description>

Anyway, it's no good securing just the core buyer. The core buyer will probably buy a PS3 and a Wii as well. You need to broaden your horizons, Microsoft.
