Mortal Kombat 8 includes DC universe

According to Mortal Kombat Online, Midway’s announced that the eighth Mortal Kombat game is titled Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe.
GamesRadar’s going to gave a trailer of it later today, apparently.

That’s just elevated it into insta-buy. I don’t care how crap the Batman character might be, I have to pummel everyone’s faces in with him.

I’m going to need to see some media of this, to reassure me that it will be good, and fun to play. I’m not sure at this point that I want DC franchise anywhere near the established MK fiction.

It’ll be a bit strange when it comes to finishing moves for the DC characters, Supes and Batman, for example, have a no killing rule.

Explain to me, how the resulting game can possibly still be Mortal Kombat, then? If that’s the case, Midway have sold their franchise down the river, for what amounts to an average licensing deal, that seems popular to no-one other than morriss! :p
