PSP stays on top of Japanese hardware sales

New hardware figures from Japan show PSP holding strong, although everything’s down in general after the joyous ejaculation that was Monster Hunter. Here’s last week’s stats. Figures below are for the week ending April 14.
- PSP - 85,721
- DS Lite - 47,158
- Wii - 46,296
- PS3 - 8,232
- PS2 - 6,834
- Xbox 360 - 1,147

Oh - we’re almost at Golden Week. That might explain it a bit. Not a lot, but a bit. Ish.

Explain why the bottom appears to have fallen out of the market. Sales of everything but the most popular stuff always slow down dramatically just before a public holiday in Japan, and especially for Golden Week.
