PS3 price increases in Far East
April 22nd, 2008 @ 06:32
According to this Hardcoreware report, Sony’s increased the price of PS3 in Hong Kong and Singapore by approximately $25 and $30 respectively.
“It should be noted that even with this price increase, the PS3 is still a good $25 cheaper in Hong Kong than the MSRP in North America.,” said the site. “In Singapore, it’s about $44 more than in USA, so this recent price increase made it even more expensive, when it was close to par recently.”
More through the link. We’ve seen this in a few places this morning, and no one appears to have any clue as to why the price has gone up. God moves in mysterious ways, obviously.

Probably something to do with the fact that they pirate absolutely fucking everything out there. It’s revenge!

Heh. I do think this is funny. Apparently there’s been no announcement at all. It’s just gone up.
