According to this TenTonHammer piece, Funcom has released an investor report that reveals Age of Conan’s monthly pricing in Europe at €12.99. Plus VAT.
In the UK, the VAT rate’s 17.5 percent, which means the game will cost in the region of €15.30 or £12.20 per month to play.
The MMO’s going to cost $14.99 in the US. Which equates to roughly €9.40, or £7.50 in real money. Hmm.

Funcom are taking the piss a bit with that pricing, WoW is £8.99 on a monthly basis and cheaper if you buy in 3/6 month chunks.

Strangely enough their Euro price is the same as WoW’s except that price includes any VAT so that makes it 17.5% or more depending on EU state more pricey. They really need to make it VAT inclusive.
