GTA IV code leaked

April 23rd, 2008 @ 13:37

Oh dear. A rip of the Xbox 360 version of GTA IV appears to be on Usenet. Although you can’t play this on a retail Xbox, as far as we know, it should run on a debug.

Reports are coming in that people have downloaded it and have it running.

Checking Rockstar for comment now.

Update: Sorry, apparently this will run on a modded 360 as well.

you’re posting news as soon as you get it, if that means a post gets reworded several times then do it, no need to add ‘UPDATE: Sorry …blahblahblah’

  6. I’m keeping it real. I never lie. That way I can’t be caught out by teh internets.

  11. El_MUERkO, does your profile url say “geeshirts” on purpose? I’m guessing not.

  12. geeshirts is my super secret project involving donkey murder, ask no further questions!

  13. Yup, usenet indexing sites are showing it up there

A shame, but entirely predictable. I think GTA4 will cope though. Most people seem to want to buy it.

  14. supposedly a video of a leaked copy being played
