Here we go. The intro movie to the PS3 version of GTA IV’s now up on YouTube. It’s here, and is definitely legit. There’s gameplay at the end of it, which kind of destroys any notion of a fake.
Also, it looks as though people are playing the game online, as you can see here.
We’re not saying it was inevitable. But it was.

I wonder how many times they’ll take that video down before they just give up?
The movie’s… GTA. It’s what you would expect. Animation’s a bit more wooden that I expected, frame rate wobbles a little bit at one point during the driving bit. And the music on the radio during the driving is aces! And… do want.

I don’t see it as ruined. There’s no story in the clips, it’s just driving and stuff. No different to watching a video review, which I do all the time.
