Wii hits 24.45 million units to date

In its 2008 financial year results, Nintendo’s confirmed that Wii has now sold 24.45 million units worldwide, and 18.61 million of those in the 12 months ending March 31.

Wii Fit, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Wii Sports, Wii Play, Super Mario Galaxy and Mario Party 8 have been named as the biggest Wii hitter of the year for the firm.
