Trey
Talk about in denial. You're right about the issue with RRoD. They rushed it. But Sony has done just as bad. They made a overly complicated Cell and mated that with an overly ambitious media drive. They thought everyone would buy one and they haven't. They thought Blu-Ray would have a fast enough transfer rate, it doesn't. They thought the prices would come down fast, they haven't. That caused them to constantly make changes to their console which has led to compatibility problems. Nobody wants Blu-Ray, it's not selling. And Sony is bleeding money that they can't afford to lose. Yeah, Ken K. is a real genius. They should keep that guy around forever. oops!

Oh lord... well, the Sega Saturn has 8 processors, so it must be the bestest!!

Seriously, the PS3 has 7 co-processors in the Cell. CO-processors! They are vector processing units, not full blown CPU cores. The PS3 PPE is a dual core PowerPC CPU with Altivec vector processing. Whereas the 360 contains three full blown PowerPC cores with SIMD vector processing. It's all about evens out.

I'm sure the PS3 could display twice as many enemies -- at half the frame rate.

TreyIM: "Now, I’m not the “console war flamming” type or otherwise (lol)"

uhuh. You should look at what exactly Rockstar said about both consoles.

Now, I'm not the "console war flamming" type or otherwise (lol) but people need to get out of denial about the 360 being a technically inferior console. Even Rockstar said it themselves about being limited by the 360 for GTA IV's dev.
Microsoft went for the quick and easy buck with the 360, hence those red rings of death and the technical differences.
They rushed the system to market to beat Sony to the punch and that contributed to those rings and, maybe, the shortsightedness in the technology.
Ken K., may have been a bit of a nut job and arrogant but dude was a visionary in developing the PSs, especially the PS3. Look at how far the PS2 got stretched, technically, for such a long time. God of War 2 was deemed a technical masterpiece and when was it released? 2007, AFTER the 360 was released, which was to mark the beginning of the "next gen" era.
Be impartial, folks, and stop being so biased toward your system of choice.

Don't believe the hype. The PS3 has 7 processors, six that process code and 1 that sorts. The 360 has three, but they each process two streams of code at the same time. It's not really that much of a difference. He wouldn't tell you if Sony demanded the PS3 be the lead. And remember, this companies claim to fame is Bloodrayne.... oh and Bloodrayne 2. We will see how good they are at programming since they put themselves out there like that though.

"The PlayStation 3 has seven processors and the 360 only has three, so seven versus three means you can do a lot more on the PS3."

It's as simple as this? Awesome. ;)

Yeah, you're right. More cartoony, they'll be. They've outsourced the development to Red Fly. You'll be able to attatch your DS to the Wii and use it as a PKE meter.

Khanivor if I am not mistaken, I believe PS2 and Wii version are going to be scaled down versions of the ps3 and xbox360 version, and will look quite different although probably hold the same context in them. In that case, ps3 and xbox 360 version are leading with the more realism, and so the 360 could actually be holding it back.

What on earth makes you think that Blerk? Surely it couldn't be related to this:

Mark Randell : Very simple reason: Ghostbusters is the property of Sony Pictures.

Anyway, it must be comforting to know that the Wii and PS2 are more powerful than the 360 as it isn't these versions holding them back...

My hopes for this game have taken a wee bit of a knock if this dude's in charge :(

I'm sure Sony holding his pay cheque in their many-tentacled claws had no bearing whatsoever on his comments. None at all. Nope.
