April 28th, 2008 @ 18:15
Wii Fit’s gone straight in at the top of the British charts, which is lucky as it’s about to be blown out of the water by GTA IV. Still, a moment in the sun, and all that. Figures are for the week ending April 26.
- Wii Fit
- Mario Kart Wii
- Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games
- Gran Turismo 5: Prologue
- Pro Evolution Soccer 2008
- Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
- Sega Superstars Tennis
- Dr. Kawashima’s Brain Training
- UEFA EURO 2008 Austria-Switzerland
- Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Vegas 2

Go Pro WiiVO go! Still outselling UEFA I see.
Will GTA IV get a double top position on the individuals chart?

Double top is a certainty.
Don’t know if you want to add any of this, Pat - Wii Fit’s the 6th fastest-selling title ever, it’s the fastest-selling Nintendo title (beating Mario Kart’s record which it held for a mere two weeks) and, in terms of money earned, it’s the third-biggest behind Halo 3 and San Andreas. And GTA IV next week, obviously.

It’ll be interesting to see which GTA comes out on top. On paper, it absolutely should be the 360 version. But GTA’s a weird thing. And so are the British public.

If GTA isn’t number one this week I’ll eat my own head. Twice. With sugar on.
