First new Prince of Persia scans hit web

April 29th, 2008 @ 11:17

And here they are. The new art style promised yesterday does indeed look more cartoony, and very pleasant if we’re being honest. These images are taken from a French mag, but if it’s out there we’re sure to see an English equivalent very soon.

  1. Interesting. Not quite as nice as I was expecting, but certainly looking quite nice. I can see a big internet backlash over this, though - remember the Wind Waker fiasco? :-)

The big UK unveil is in next month’s Edge, by the way. Like I predicted earlier in the week. ;-)

  2. Dang, I wish my French was a bit better.

  3. Wow, I really like the look of it graphics wise.

  4. I like the cartoon smoke coming out of the beasty’s nostrils. And that fire pit looks great!

  5. Okami meets PoP….interesting. Can’t really judge from this, will wait until I see some gameplay footage.

  6. We will getting a nice interview with the community dev manager at the end May. So stay tuned kidz.

The amount of detail crammed into those characters is fantastic. Heres hoping the animation can match up.
