Ubi’s put out two new Far Cry 2 screens on its blog. The shooter’s looking very swish, as you’d expect, but we can’t help thinking this is going to need some kind of meta-PC to get anything out of it. Take a look. It’s out this autumn.

Looks pretty. I hope they get this running on a par or better than Crysis though. If it’s any more demanding than that I fear they’d be shooting themselves in the foot. I’m certainly not upgrading again for couple of years…

crysis is still some time away from being able to run decently across a large number of machines and now this?! it better be optimised very nicely or else people will be buying a cat instead.
