Amazon worldwide charts - Week Ending May 1

May 2nd, 2008 @ 21:27

Another rather unsurprising week this week, I’m afraid. You’ll win no prizes if you guessed that GTA IV heads up the 360 and PS3 charts for Europe and the US.

No medal will be awarded, either, for betting on Mario Kart Wii keeping pole position across all three territories in the Wii charts: as well, it did.

Valykria Chronicles (Senjou no Valkyria) leads the way for the PS3 in Japan and Crisis Core and Monster Hunter continue to sell more than every other title for its baby brother in the US and the East respectively.

You all still like training your brains on the DS no matter if you live in UK or Japan. The Americans go against the brain grain (sorry) and plump for Mario Kart DS as their champion this week.

However, if you had placed a tenner on a Sims title being number one on in one of the PC markets then you would have lost. That’s got to be a record of some sort. We’ll look it up and get back to you. Although if you did place that bet, we’ll get some medals polished, just for you. WoW’s top in the US, Chaos;Head’s first in Japan and Assassin’s Creed leads in the UK.

Full the full list head over to Gamasutra.
