EA’s Moore on Home: “Let’s go already”

May 8th, 2008 @ 07:55

Speaking to Eurogamer, EA’s Peter Moore said that he’s “disappointed” with the face Sony’s chosen to push Home into the back half of this year.

“Yeah; I just wish it would ship,” he said.

“I [previously] questioned it a little bit, whether I’d want to wander around there. Phil Harrison showed me a demo - it’s very cool, but let’s go already. And so I’m disappointed that it’s been pushed back a little bit again.

“But I really hope it gets going and becomes that portal to the PlayStation Network and we can utilise it. But boy, I just wish we’d get going.”

  1. You can take the man out of Microsoft, but you can’t take Microsoft out of the man. ;-)

  2. He’s right though.

  3. Of course he is! They should’ve launched a basic service six months ago and added all the bells and whistles incrementally over the next couple of years. The buffoons.

  4. I’m with Blerk on this
Home fuckups have a new Home so to speak.

  5. Overusing bad jokes have a new home.

Right, and EA has done what to innovate exactly? His company is the very textbook definition of stifling creativity and feeding the machine.

Before I agree with anything this MS reject has to say, let’s see him put money where his mouth this and innovate, say, I don’t know, MADDEN maybe?

Till then he’s just as credible as I would be giving a woman advice on tampons!
