The Major’s just confirmed that the GRID demo’s now up on Live in all regions. The Codemaster’s racer looks tres bon, so do take a look. From Nelson:

It’s time to get on the GRID as this superb demo showcases racing in the three regions playable in the full game; Europe Touring Cars at Jarama Circuit, U.S Muscle cars at San Francisco and Japanese Drift Racing at Yokohama Docks. Compete online in the European and U.S races and check out the time trial competitions for the chance to win a car and other ace prizes.

It’s fantastic! I haven’t played it yet mind, so you can probably disregard that opinion until I have.

Just played this… it’s excellent. Far better than I expected it to be.

  6. Arcadey or Sim-like?

    Good sensation of speed?

What’s the difficulty level like in the demo? The Dirt demo was stupidly hard, which is probably what put me off buying it.

Arcadey but you can remove some assists to make it simmier

Great sensation of speed, so smooth too though.

I think there are 5 difficulty levels in the demo (I chose the middle one and it seemed ok)

  8. Cool, thanks!
