According to the best sellers list from Play.com, Gameplay, Gamestop and Amazon.com, GTA IV 360 is outselling the game on PS3.

In fact, in three out of the four websites, GTA IV 360 is currently top of their bestsellers list altogether.

GTA 360 comes in second to Mario Kart Wii on Amazon.com, being the only blip on the GTA IV-dominated radar.

Wii Fit is the other big worldwide seller this week, coming in fourth on Amazon and Gamestop, with Gameplay and Play.com not having enough stock to keep up with demand.

Spielberg’s Boom Blox has made a decent start in both regions and manages to make it into Gameplay’s top ten in its first week after release.

On the PC side, gamers can’t wait for Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures, as it tops pre-orders on all four sites, even beating MGS4.

Overall, though, Wii continues to reign supreme in the US, with 80 percent of Amazon’s top ten being dominated by the format, as is 40 percent of Gamestop’s.

Europeans seem to prefer their hardcore consoles, with 360 and PS3 games making up 70 percent of Play.com’s and 50 percent of Gameplay’s top ten software titles sold.

That’s enough numbers for this week. More next weekend.

  1. Completely expected since the Xbox still has a larger install base.

  2. According to Sony not in Europe it doesn’t.

  3. A little on the misleading side - the two sites given as “Euro” are UK based and presumably significantly biased by UK sales - where the 360 still has a big lead. What sort of percentage sales do Play.com and Gameplay.CO.UK have in Europe then?

  4. In fact check amazon.fr or amazon.de and guess which platform comes out on top there? Hmmm?
